Unwanted things have a way of finding their way into our lives. Be it weeds in our garden, accidents on the road or simply filler words in our speeches. Just as you would uproot the weeds, or get an insurance to deal with accidents, you can also be pro active in eliminating filler words from your speeches. In Toastmasters, we encourage our members to do exactly this. That is why every session has an Ah Counter whose role is to keep a track of filler words such as ah, umm, like, you know, because etc. used by members during the meeting. As the Ah counter today, I will present this report so that you can be pro active in eliminating them.
