It is often said that if you take care of the small things, the big things will take care of themselves. To a speaker, fillers words can be the smallest thing, so small in fact that they tend to go unnoticed. Yet that does not take away the fact that they dilute the impact your speeches create. It’s therefore vital to work on eliminating them. As the Ah Counter today, my role is to help you do just that. I will keep a track of all filler words such as ah, umm, err, you know, like etc. used by the speakers and present this report towards the end so that you know the smallest things you need to work on.
