Fellow Toastmasters, what makes a good speech great? It’s flawless delivery. And there are a lot factors that dictate flawless delivery, from great body language to effective hand gestures to eloquence. As the Ah Counter today, my role is to help you with the last one. While speaking, we tend to use fillers world like ah, umm, err, you know, etc. that compromises the eloquence of our speech. I will keep a track of all such words used by the speakers today and present a report on it towards the end of the meeting so that you may know what’s compromising your eloquence and work on it.
