A Grammarian’s script with Christmas theme

Here is a beautiful script for the role of Grammarian with a Christmas theme. The use of analogy by TM Ronak from Mumbai is absolutely on point. Have a look.

Any language sans the right grammar is like a Christmas tree sans lighting and all the decorations. And we know Santa doesn’t like his tree not lit up.

While we may debate the existence of Santa, but without a doubt language without the right grammar is not just disliked but even not understood by your audience. Grammar is the lighting on the tree that helps your audience see the message in your speech.

Therefore, as a Grammarian today, I will keep a track of all the good usage of English, good phrases, words, idioms etc. but more importantly the not so good usage of English and incorrect pronunciations as well.

I am also supposed to give you the word of the day and the word of the day is “RAMBUNCTIOUS.” Its an adjective which means “noisy and lacking in restraint or discipline.”

An example to demonstrate usage can be “a social gathering that became rambunctious and out of hand.”

I hope everyone uses the word to the maximum. I will be back with my report towards the end of the meeting.

Festivals can be a great theme to draft a creative script for any role in Toastmasters. If you have any such creative script like TM Roank, do let us know here.
