Role of Grammarian

It’s true that the constitution gives you the right to free speech. However, you cannot make grammatically wrong sentences in the pretext of exercising that right. In fact, a grammatically correct speech that is understood by everyone is the right way to actually utilize your free speech. So let’s do so. As the Grammarian today, I will appreciate your good usage of language but more importantly correct any errors in pronunciation or grammar so that you use your free speech the right way. 

As the Grammarian I will also help you in enriching you vocabulary by giving you the word of the day. And the word of the day for today is “incumbent.”

It’s an adjective and it means necessary for someone as a duty or responsibility.

Here are some examples of the word usage in sentences –

It is incumbent on the new EC team to provide a positive learning environment.

I hope everyone uses this word to the maximum in our meeting today. I will be back with my report towards the end of the meeting.
