Let’s play a game I loved playing as a kid – odd one out. Pick the word that’s oddest in the sentence. The first one is for you Mr. GE – “I am umm going to become a great public speaker.”
GE – It’s umm.
Correct. Here’s a candy for you. The next one is for you Mr. TMOD. “Filler words are err the nemesis in realising my dream.”
TMOD – err
Here is a candy for you too. As you can see filler words are not just awkward but also odd in any sentences we utter. If you see a nemesis in them too, I am here to help you today as the Ah Counter. Just like the TMOD and GE did, I will pick all such odd words from the sentences you utter and present this report towards the end of the meeting so that we can all become a great public speaker.
