Here’s the second submission by TM Shekhar from Thane Toastmasters Club. TM Shekhar works as a Senior Sales Manager at a Swiss Fragrance Manufacturing Company. This script looks inspired from an actual encounter TM Shekhar had. Either ways, it’s sure to get some laughs. Take a look at what Shekhar has come up with.
RELATED: How to do the role of Grammarian?

The other day I was walking by a neighborhood when I noticed a signboard that read “Trespassers will be prostituted” (Pause). Funny right? Not so when you are the one saying it out loud on a stage. If you want to avoid such errors in your speech, I am here to your rescue. I am the Grammarian for today’s session and as the Grammarian my role is to appreciate the use of fine language but more importantly correct any errors in grammar or pronunciation so that you don’t make errors in your speech.
As the Grammarian I will also help you in enriching your vocabulary by giving you the word of the day. And the word of the day for today is “axiomatic.”
It’s an adjective and it means self evident or unquestionable.
Here are some demonstrations on usage of the word
If it snows, it’s axiomatic that the night is going to be chilly.
The lockdown made layoffs axiomatic.
I hope everyone uses the word to the maximum. I will be back with my report towards the end of the meeting.
