A GE script on improvements

TM Levi from Calgary knows the art of expressing the simplest truths in the most beautiful words. And he does so regularly for the role of General Evaluator. This is the second submission we received from him for this role and it’s as amazing as the first one. Take a look at his script below.

Improvements don’t happen by accident nor do you stumble upon them while strolling in the park and you definitely don’t wake up as an improved person magically. Improvements happen with your dedicated efforts to find where you are going wrong, how you can rectify it and then implementing it. In Toastmasters, we work on this exact philosophy. Every session has an evaluation round where we appreciate the good you do but more importantly bring to your notice where you could do better and tell you how to do so. As the General Evaluator, that’s my role for today and helping me is a team of supplementary evaluators. Let me introduce them to you now.

Thank you so much TM Levi for this submission.

We here at mymeetingroles.com are making a collection of scripts / introductions for all roles in Toastmasters. If you have such ideas or scripts that you have used in your club, let us know here or email us at hello@mymeetingroles.com.
