Most scripts for role of Timer focus on the time aspect of the role. Not this one. In this submission, TM Gaurav from Delhi focuses on the color coded flash cards we use to signal speakers. Take a look below.
RELATED: How to do the role of Timer?

Color coded signals are used in a variety of ways in our lives. We use them in traffic lights to discipline vehicles, in football to warn players and in Toastmasters to signal our speakers their time limits while they speak. As the timer today, my role is to handle these color signals and alert speakers about their intervals.
For the prepared speeches, the time limit is 5 to 7 minutes. At the end of 5 minutes, I will flash the green card, followed by yellow at 6 and red at the end of 7 minutes.
For the Table Topic Session, the time limit is 1 to 2 minutes. At the end of 1 minute, I will flash the green card, followed by yellow at 1.5 and red at the end of 2 minutes.
For the Speech Evaluations, the time limit is 2 to 3 minutes. At the end of 2 minutes, I will flash the green card, followed by yellow at 2.5 and red at the end of 3 minutes.
There is a grace time of 30 seconds after the red card is flashed each time to wrap up your speeches.
I will come back with my report towards the end of the meeting.
