We loved this submission by TM Daniel for the role of Ah Counter partly because it starts with a time tested adage and mainly because it makes great sense. We are sure it would draw a smile to your face as well. Take a read.
RELATED: How to do the role of Ah Counter?

It is said that you can’t teach an old dog a new trick. Once people become accustomed to doing things a certain way, change becomes difficult. This is especially true about filler words such as you know, like, but, umm, err etc. that people are accustomed to using while speaking. In Toastmasters, we help you unlearn them from day one of your journey in public speaking. To achieve this, we have a guy in every meeting who keeps a track of such words uttered by our members. As the Ah Counter today, I am that guy and I will present this report towards the end of the meeting so that you can start unlearning them.
