TM Owen from Calgary has managed to stuff a lot of things about Toastmasters in this little script for the role of Ah Counter. Besides explaining about his role, he has also explained what Toastmasters is all about – all in a way that seems to integrate effortlessly. Take a look at his idea below.
RELATED: How to do the role of Ah Counter?
Toastmasters doesn’t just transform us into better communicators but also carves us as leaders. And no leader can afford to sound vague, unsure or hesitant. Unfortunately filler words such as ah, umm, like, you know etc. makes us look all of that. It is therefore crucial that we get past them. In Toastmasters, we have an Ah counter in every session whose role is to track all such filler words used in the session. I will present this report towards the end of the meeting so that you know what’s stopping you from becoming confident leaders.
Thank you so much TM Owen for this submission.
