This submission for the role of Ah Counter is by TM Mike from London. TM Mike has stretched his imaginations to magnificent proportions in drafting this unique script for the role of Ah Counter. It demonstrates the lengths public speakers sometimes go to get our attention. Have a look.
RELATED: How to do the role of Ah Counter?
There are only two categories of people whose filler words are applauded by the world. One is babies who speak only in filler words and other is singers who have filler words embedded in their lyrics on grounds of poetry. We here at Toastmasters are not babies and while some of us may be bathroom singers, this venue isn’t a public bath. So its best that we avoid using filler words such as ah, umm, err, like, you know etc. in our speeches. As the Ah Counter today, I will keep a track of all such words used and present my report towards the end of the meeting.
Thank you so much TM Mike for this submission.
