TM Nishant likes to maintain balance in life. Apart from Toastmasters, he likes to spend his time in a gym as well. His words – “Toastmasters is for the brain, gym for the body.” No wonder his script for a General Evaluator’s role is inspired from his experience in gym. Take a look.
RELATED: How to do the role of a General Evaluator?

When I joined a gym for the first time, I noticed a warning hung on the wall – “Weights won’t hurt you. Wrong techniques will.” My instructor later explained me how lifting a loaded bar with wrong posture may hurt my back for a lifetime. Toastmasters, it’s not just a gym but any activity done the wrong way is not going to yield fruitful results. That’s true in Toastmasters as well. Anyone can hold a mike and blabber but to create impact, you need the right technique.
That is why every session in Toastmasters has a General Evaluator. As the GE today, my role is to appreciate the good but more importantly suggest ways to right the not so good.
Helping me in my task today is my TAG team. Let me introduce this team to you now.
Thank you TM Nishant for this submission.
We here at mymeetingroles.com are making a collection of scripts / introductions for all roles in Toastmasters. If you have such ideas or scripts that you have used in your club, let us know here or email us at hello@mymeetingroles.com.
