TM Logan from Charlotte is fond of quotes. The last script he submitted us for the role of General Evaluator had a powerful quote. That script was read by 188 Toastmasters from all over the world in just 7 days. When we informed him about the statistics, he sent us three more scripts with compelling quotes. Read the first one below.
RELATED: How to do the role of General Evaluator?

Judith Martin, an American columnist has said “When virtues are pointed out first, flaws seem less insurmountable.” Appreciating the good raises the morale of the receiver which makes accepting feedbacks easier. In Toastmasters, we recognize the merits of this approach. That is why we follow a CRC approach in evaluations where any recommendations are sandwiched between commendations.
As the General Evaluator today, my role is to bring out the virtues in all speakers and role players and also help them know how to overcome flaws, if any. Helping me in my task is a TAG team. Let me introduce this team now.
Thank you TM Logan for this submission.
