Do you look for the perfect quote every time you want to create an impact? TM Logan from Charlotte does. Logan knows that a good quote elevates the credibility of anything you say. Read his script for the General Evaluator’s role below for proof.
Norman Vincent Peale, the author of The Power of Positive Thinking has said “The trouble with most of us is that we would rather be ruined by praise than saved by criticism.” But in a world of abundance, why should we limit ourselves to one of the two and not have the best of both world – a pat on the back coupled with guidance that save your back.
That’s the philosophy we follow in Toastmasters. Every meeting in Toastmasters has an evaluation session where we appreciate the good and give suggestions to improvise the not so good. As the General Evaluator, I will give a comprehensive report on all aspects of the meeting today.
I also have a TAG team to report on some specific aspects of your performance. Let me introduce this team now.
Thank you TM Logan for this submission.
We here at mymeetingroles.com are making a collection of scripts / introductions for all roles in Toastmasters. If you have such ideas or scripts that you have used in your club, let us know here or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
