RELATED: How to do the role of Ah Counter?

Remember that time when you stood on a stage, held a mike and delivered a flawless speech like an orator with words pouring out of your mouth like fine wine being poured from a bottle that’s as old as time itself. Don’t? That’s probably because all of us are here to actually transform ourselves into a speaker of that league. And to help you achieve that, every Toastmasters meeting has an Ah Counter.
As the Ah Counter today, my role is to keep a track of all filler words such as ah, um, you know, basically etc. that speakers use during their speech so that you can learn about the words that are stopping you from becoming fine wine. I will present my findings when called upon by the General Evaluator in the third session.
