A Grammarian script cause we are humans

Language has played a crucial role in shaping life as we know it. Here is a script for the role of Grammarian focusing on this aspect. This submission is by TM Angela from Chicago. Have a look.

RELATED: How to do the role of a Grammarian?

Language has played a key role in the advancement of human civilizations. It was what enabled us to share our ideas and let successive generations build upon them. If not for language, each generation of human race would still be engaged in understanding the magic of fire.

Since language is so important, it makes sense that we use it right. That is why we here at Toastmasters have a grammarian in every meeting.

As the Grammarian today, my role is to record all the good usage of English, good phrases, words, idioms etc. and also the not so good usage and incorrect pronunciations so that we can work upon them.

I am also supposed to give you the word of the day. It’s “indelible”

It’s an adjective that means “not able to be forgotten”

An example of the word’s use is –

“Your ice breaker had an indelible impression on me.”

I hope everyone uses this word to the maximum. I will be back with my report towards the end of the meeting. Thank You.
