Here is a delightful submission for the role of an Ah Counter by TM Olivia from London. TM Olivia has incorporated her story in learning the importance of this role to draft this script. Have a look.
RELATED: How to do the role of Ah Counter?

When I joined Toastmasters, the role of Ah Counter absolutely dumbfounded me. “Why this fixation on a few meaningless utterances?” I often wondered. However, it was only upon watching the record of my ice breaker that I realized how these meaningless utterances marred the beauty of a fine speech.
So today, as the Ah Counter, I will help you undergo a similar realization. I will keep a track of all filler words such as ah, um, you know, basically etc. that speakers use during their speech. I will present my findings when called upon by the General Evaluator in the third session.
