A General Evaluator script on the importance of “Unbiased reviews”

The General Evaluator plays a very vital role in Toastmasters. TM Rohit highlights this beautifully in this short script for the role of a General Evaluator. Have a look.

Be it a song we sung, food we prepared or in Toastmasters, speeches we deliver, there is a vast difference between the way we view things and others around us view them. Our version is biased and often loaded with internal information only we are privy to. People around us view them with a different lens. Since any performance we do is for the people around us, it is important that we make sure that our performances are appealing to other people who are unbiased and not privy to insider information.

That is why every Toastmasters meeting has an Evaluation session. In this session, I as the General Evaluator will give an unbiased report on the events of the meeting so that you may know where you really stand. In this task I will be assisted by speech evaluators who will evaluate the prepared speeches and a TAG team. Let me introduce you to this team now and their roles.
