Thinking a little outside the box can help you catch the fancy of an otherwise uninterested audience. Here is an Ah counter script submitted by TM Neha from Mumbai that nails this idea brilliantly. Have a look.

Hello everyone.
Filler words in a speech are as useless as the U in Guide and M in Mnemonic. While the mystery of the silent U and M may confound you, don’t let your audience be confounded by filler words like um, ah, err, you know, but etc. in your speech.
To help you in this endeavor, I as the Ah Counter will keep a note of all such filler words used by the speakers in today’s meeting. Towards the end of the meeting, I will present my report so that you can know your filler words and work on them.
