A great way to explain any concept is to use the right metaphors and analogies. TM Mohit from Chennai has used these tools brilliantly to draft his script for the role of a Grammarian. Have a look.

Fellow Toastmasters, Grammar is a lot like the lubricant in your car. Good grammar reduces the friction between different words and parts of your sentences while making the message of your speech smooth like a ride in a Mercedes. As a Grammarian today, I will assist you in achieving this. My role is to look for all the good usage of English, good phrases, words, idioms etc. and also the not so good usage and incorrect pronunciations.
I am also supposed to give you the word of the day. It’s “scintillating”
It’s an adjective that means “sparkling or shining brightly”
An example of a sentence using the word is –
My garage houses a scintillating Mercedes.
I hope everyone uses the word to the maximum. I will be back with my report towards the end of the meeting. Thank You.
