Role of Ah Counter in Toastmasters

There is no perfect quote for Ah Counter but to misquote Alexander Pope, “To err is human, to forgo erring divine.”  The quote may be wrong but the underlying message is absolutely true.

As the Ah counter today, I will help you in realizing this. My role is to make note of the filler words such as ah, umm, err, you know etc. used by members in their speeches and roles today. I will keep a track of the same and present my report towards the end of the meeting.

Thank you TM Oliver for this wonderful submission. If you have a script for any role in Toastmasters, do let us know here.
