Hello Toastmasters.
Filler words are the potholes of the spoken language. And do you know what do we do with potholes? We fill them with concrete stuff. A good public speaker should also strive to replace the filler words in his speech with concrete words so that his message is smooth like an expressway.
As the Ah counter today, I will help you in this endeavor. I will keep a track of all filler words used by the speakers today so that you can identify and work on them. I will come back with my report towards the end of the meeting.
