A Grammarian script inspired from a cheesy burger

TM Shilpa from Delhi has crafted a delicious delightful script for the role of a Grammarian in Toastmasters. This script brings the image of a big cheesy burger immediately to the minds of the listener. Have a look.

English without right grammar is like a burger without cheese. Sure it has the bun and the patty but when you taste it, you miss the richness induced by creamy cheese. Grammar lends your language this richness and makes your message appealing like a delicious cheesy burger.

That is why every session in Toastmasters has a Grammarian. As a Grammarian, my role is to look for all the good usage of English, good phrases, words, idioms etc. and also the not so good usage and incorrect pronunciations.

I am also supposed to give you the word of the day. It’s “resilient”

It’s an adjective that means “able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult situations”

An example of a sentence using the word is –

“A idea is the most resilient parasite” from the movie Inception

I hope everyone uses the word to the maximum. I will be back with my report towards the end of the meeting. Thank You

Thank you TM Shilpa for this amazing script. If you have a script for any role in Toastmasters, do let us know here.
