Role of Ah Counter in Toastmasters
Role of Ah Counter in Toastmasters

Hello every one. I am the Ah counter for the day. While speaking on stage, speakers tend to use filler words like ah, um, err, you know etc. as filler words to keep the flow of the speech going. The job of Ah counter is to help you get over such filler words to make you sound more professional. One basic jugaad I can offer to help you expert speakers overcome your filler words is to speak slowly so that your brain has more time to process words and thoughts which will make you use less filler words making my job easier.

I will keep a track of the filler words used by all speakers and come back with my report towards the end of the meeting.

Thank You TM Mohit for your submission. If you have a script for any role in Toastmasters, do let us know here.
